On a windy afternoon, Louise was walking home from school when she noticed a wallet lying on the pavement. She picked it up and looked inside. There was some money, a few cards, and a photograph of an elderly man with a dog.
Louise knew the wallet must belong to someone nearby. She took it to a local shop and asked the shopkeeper if he recognised the man in the photograph. The shopkeeper smiled and said that the wallet belonged to Mr Jenkins, who lived just around the corner.
A short time later, Mr Jenkins arrived at the shop. He was relieved to see his wallet again and thanked Louise for her honesty. As she walked home, Louise felt happy because she had done the right thing.
R-What did Louise find on the pavement?
I-Why did Louise take the wallet to the local shop?
C- Find a word that shows Mr Jenkins was pleased to get his wallet back.
