LC: To know about the benefits of being outdoors and in the sun for physical and mental health. (Health and Wellbeing)
To know about the benefits of sun exposure and risks of overexposure; how to keep safe from sun damage and sun/heat stroke and reduce the risk of skin cancer. (Awareness)

Before we look at the benefits of being outside we are going to look at the benefits and risks to sun exposure and what we can do to keep safe.

In order to live a healthy lifestyle, we need to follow the hygiene routines that we discussed last half term. This includes keeping fit and healthy outside where we can be.
There are many health benefits to physical activity.

Share different ways that you can be physically active.

Task - We are going to create out own fitness circuit.
You will work in groups of 3 to create a station for the circuit using the sports equipment below. Use sketches to draw and label your circuit.
