    LC: To draw inferences around characters thoughts, feelings and actions and justify them with evidence. 
     

    Task: Read Chapter 1 of the story Press play and answer the questions below with evidence from the text to support your point. 

     

     

    1. Find and copy evidence from the text that tells you that mum thinks Nicky and Tasha are responsible children.
     

     

    2. Find and copy evidence from the text that infers that Nicky is a loving older brother to Little Joe. 


     

    3. Find and copy evidence from the text that tells you Tasha is feeling annoyed with her mum.

    Find and copy words that show Mum thinks Nicky and Tasha can be trusted and are responsible.
    Find and copy words that show Nicky is kind and caring to Little Joe.

    Focus:  Add the prefix inter-, e.g. international. 

     inter-  

    inter- is a prefix that originates from Latin showing a relationship between or from one to another.

    Read the sentences below with me. What is the meaning of the prefix  inter- in each sentence?

    Animals in the forest interact with their natural environment to find food and shelter.

    If possible, she wanted to arrive for her interview early.
