How can we investigate if plants need water, light or warmth to grow and stay healthy?

- Which plant looks healthy?”
- “How can you tell?”
- “What do you notice about the unhealthy plant?”
- “What do you think might have happened?”
Today, you are going to be plant doctors! Your job is to investigate what is wrong with an unhealthy plant and decide how to help it.
“Sam's plant has floppy, drooping leaves. He has forgotten to water it for several days.”
What is wrong?
What does it need?
How could you help it?
Talk to your partner about what you can do to help Sam's plant.
Look carefully at this plant.

It has been left in a dark cupboard. Its leaves are pale and it has not grown very much.
What is wrong?
What does it need?
How could you help it?
