Let's watch the start of this story to help us out...

Teacher - Watch - Time For A Story | Season 13 | Full Episode | Thomas & Friends UK - watch until 0:24 seconds.

Your teacher will now show you how to write the start of the story using capital letters, full stops, spaces, exclamation marks, and the conjunction 'and'.

Now it is time for you to write the start of the story.

Here are some words that you could use...

warm day, sunny day, delightful day, heavenly day, blissful day

sun - shining, beaming, shimmering, dazzling, glittering

birds - singing, tweeting, chirping, twittering, trilling
