LO-To be able to count similar objects up to 10 with accuracy and fluency.

 Begin by counting everyday objects up to 10, encouraging pupils to count carefully using one-to-one correspondence. Introduce ten frames and counters to help pupils represent numbers and match them to the correct numeral. Pupils will also explore odd and even numbers by making numbers with counters and identifying whether they can be grouped into twos.

Make personal choices and explain reasons.
