LC: to note and develop ideas using elaboration 

Let's practise the oral text map.

Let's plan for our model write by expanding our main points by

adding elaboration.

Look at the Junk Food model above to give you some ideas on the structure then complete the model below. Your teacher will model her plan for her topic. 

 LC:  To be able to write improper fractions and mixed numbers using a number line and pictorial methods.

 LC: How is the behaviour of Muslims influenced by the Quran? 

Independent task:

Read each verse carefully. Then write a sentence explaining what guidance you think God is giving Muslims in that verse.

Tip: Think about what God is telling Muslims to do, or how He wants them to behave.

 You could start each one with the following sentence starters:

• I think God is teaching Muslims to…

• This verse tells Muslims that they should…

• God wants Muslims to remember that…
