Working in pairs you will measure the different objects that are on your table.
You will need a ruler and remember to start from 0!

Listen to and discuss non-fiction at a level beyond which they can read independently.
Revisit the list of features of a non-fiction text. Have a look at the information books and find the various features. Can you find a contents page, photograph etc?
Can you find out the answer to these questions from the text? You are going to be working in groups and when you find the answer, you will press the buzzers!!!
