Record these calculations in your yellow maths book and find the answers.

Let’s think about time together in Year 2.

Take a few minutes to look at your class page. Can you remember all the things we have done and learnt?

Talk to your partner about the things we have done together.

As Super scientists we have used our observational skills to help us to solve problems. Let’s see if you can use those skills again to figure out what this is.

Now it’s your turn. Can you identify all of these objects?

Can you identify what is needed in a Hindu Shrine?

Why do you like to keep special places tidy and beautiful?

Many Hindu families have a small shrine at home. It’s a quiet place to pray or think about God. They decorate it with beautiful things to show respect.

What objects make the shrine special?

Now its your turn, you will draw a shrine. It could include

  • A statue or picture of Brahman or any other god

  • Candles or lamps

  • Flowers

  • Bright colours and decorations

Your shrine can be colourful, have patterns, or anything you think makes it feel special.
