Monday

To be able to measure volume in litres, and determine whether an amount is more than, less than or equal to a litre.

Let's remind ourselves of the guided practice we did on Friday.

Turn to page 153 and 154.

In Science we learnt about the life cycle of a frog.

The frog lays eggs in water. They look like jelly and are called frogspawn.

Then the egg hatches into a tadpole. It lives in water and has a tail. It swims like a little fish.

The tadpole grows back legs first, then front legs. It still has a tail.

After the tail gets smaller and the tadpole starts to look more like a tiny frog, called a froglet.

When the tail disappears. Now it's a grown-up frog that can live on land and in water.

What have we done so far in Engineering?

Today we are going to continue on to the next step of making our own finger puppet!

What was the last thing we did in Engineering?

We are going to go into small groups and stich your 2 pieces of felt you cut out last week. You'll then be able to see how your finger puppet comes together.
