Let's show how we make our number bonds using the 10 frames.
Draw a part part whole model on your whiteboard.
Look at the 10 frames.
1L- Ten frames
Write the parts in each circle, one part being the red counter and the other being the blue counters.
Lets go outside
You need to find a piece of the number bond jigsaw.
This is will be one part of the number bond to 10. You need to think what other part you need and find someone with that number.

On your tables you have lots of different pictures of your country China, with your talk partners can you tell each other what can you see?
Together as a class we will now create sentences about China using the pictures and create some actions to help us remember the sentence!

This afternoon you will be designing your own Chinese dragon masks and your Canadian indigenous face masks!
You will start of by using colour pencils then add some glitter, sequins and feathers to jazz up your masks!
Think about the kind of colours you might use and what kind of designs you will use!
